The parish community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Dominic Richmond, beloved son of Chris and Lori Richmond. News of Dominic’s passing has brought profound sadness to his family, friends, parishioners, and everyone who knew and loved him.
In a message shared with the parish family, members of the community were asked to keep Dominic and all those grieving his loss in their prayers. The loss of a loved one is never easy, and the Richmond family is now facing a difficult period filled with sorrow, memories, and the pain of saying goodbye.

Visitation for Dominic will be held Wednesday, August 19, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Janowicz Funeral Home in Remus. A Vigil Service will follow at 6:00 p.m., with Fr. Mike Alber presiding. The gathering will give family members, friends, and members of the parish an opportunity to pay their respects and offer condolences to Dominic’s loved ones.
Dominic’s Funeral Mass will take place Thursday, August 20, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour before the Mass. A luncheon will follow the funeral service, providing another opportunity for the community to come together in support of the Richmond family.
Parishioners are also being reminded that the regular Thursday 9:00 a.m. morning Mass has been cancelled because of the funeral arrangements.
